So if the wait is too long for pizza, you can go across the street and sit at the cafe and have a spritz. They will call over and get pizza to go for you. There is a 3 euro up charge but it comes faster than waiting in line….enjoyed Naples!!
I love all of your Italy videos, I have them saved for when I plan my trip next summer. I recommend them to others. Thanks for your warm personality and authentic interest in the History of Italy.
Hey Angel , this is stunning video love your videos . Thanks for all your info . Pompei city history impress me ,wow . Pizza Margarita looks terrific 😋 for me pizza is finger food i never use silverware 😂😂😂 But not en Italy . Thank you so much fir your awesome videos . Hugs from Beehive State 🙏✨️🩵🤍♥️🌷
This is quite an interesting video! Been to Rome before and considered doing a day trip to Naples at the time, but decided to not do it and just spend time in Rome.
Good video but there is so much more Naples has to offer! Lungomare, Chiaia, mergelina, museums, churches… ancient roman and Greek history- one of the oldest cities. More than just good pizza! Need more than a day.
Great video, it’s a pity the heading is so misleading. This is a great representation of Napoli, over 3 to 5 days maybe… definitely can’t be done in one day.
Just like in the episode, if you start with Pompeii first thing, then you can see everything as listed. One day in Naples is better than none, but more time in Naples in better. Bravo for having more time!
@@TheTourGuyVids it is impossible to visit Pompeii, sorento, capri and Naples all in the one day. Forget Capri even, it’s still impossible mate. Theres no way to visit all the places in each place that you did on the show. I like your videos, but you should stop misleading people about unrealistic times. Let’s say you start the day in Pompeii. It opens at 9am. The places you walked takes 2-3 hours. Then you travel to Naples, another 2 hours by the time you get your ticket, make your way to the platform, ride the train, navigate out of the Napoli train station. Best possible case scenario you can start looking at Napoli starting about 1pm. Then you show about 8 hours worth of Naples sights, if all the stars align you could squeeze things in Naples in by maybe 9pm, but the problem is some of the things you showed are shut by then. And we haven’t had time to catch the ferry to Sorento yet. It’s definitely impossible.
@@TheTourGuyVids I rewatched this video just now. I really enjoy it, it takes me back❤️ So fun to revisit it, thanks mate. This time around, I monitored the angle of the sun to judge the time of day😅. I can see that you were chatting with the Pompeii guide approximately 8:30am, and you just made it to the famous painting just before closing time. I can see that you did indeed do it all in one day👍, apologies for suggesting otherwise mate. I feel sorry for those who can only spare one day for Napoli and Pompeii, but if that’s the deal, then I would definitely be taking your tour mate 👍
Unfortunately all the videos I watch about visiting Naples are mostly about eating eating eating... Nobody talks about the catacombs, museums to visit.. unbelievable
Naples reminds me of Palermo. You either love it or hate it. I love the grittiness and as you say, the organized chaos...but for some it can be overwhelming.
Don't forget how dirty the city I'd and buildings crumbling slowly, oh yeah and certain pizza restaurants burn the pizza without motivation and scams that happen in stores with hidden tax 😊
hey, that’s a great point and thanks for bringing it up POMPEII refers to the ancient site, the archaeological site and the ancient city. Pompei is the modern city not the archaeological site
ust came back from Italy. Napoli was the worst of six cities I visited. Just trash everywhere. Nothing really to see that you haven't already in other cities.
It seems you missed a lot of beautiful things. Museums, palace, so much art and culture... you dwelled on the flaws and missed everything else. Too bad.
You have to visit things , not do inspections. Rome is currently much worse than Naples in terms of Trash. I live in London and is dirty too. Paris also. Open your mind
This is television grade. Needs to be a Netflix show
Wow thanks so much
@TheTourGuyVids I agree!
Italy is my favourite country in the world to visit and your vlogs are always my travel guide, grazie mille Angel.

The best pizza I ever had in my life was in Naples and that was 26 years ago! I’ll be going back next month! Can’t wait!
Have some pizza for us. Happy Travels

I LOVE THIS intro
Thanks, Olivia! Happy Travels to you.
Missed the more panoramic (and quieter) parts of Naples west of the city center (Chiaia, Vomero, Posillipo) but overall good summary.
Great tips! Thanks 💪🏼
Need more than one day to include these areas

it’s probably because as in our case those sites are not conducive to filming. Filming and photography is that they’re not allowed or prohibitive

We love cities that overwhelm us. Getting my two American born kids trained to enjoy coexistence.
Nah, it's more like Catania.
Way to kill it on an intro Angel.
Thanks for leading the way Sean

I am in the cafe now (October 16 2024). The weather is warm 23c. The server has not asked us anything 😂 we have to ask lol.
Are there any museums in Naples?
Yes of course. There are many but we didn't have permission to film them. Check out Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli
MANN Museum, Capodimonte, Gallerie d'ITALIA, MADRE, Jago Museum...
Don't forget how dirty the city I'd and buildings crumbling slowly, oh yeah and certain pizza restaurants burn the pizza without motivation and scams that happen in stores with hidden tax 😊

Why is pompeii covered in litter before you enter site?
We don’t know what you mean
You are too young, intelligent and handsome to be so heavy.
Agree! Well said in a respectful way, I think. I was thinking the same thing! Get on CPAP and you'll feel so much better...
Its Pompei not Pompeii
